Sherrie’s love of yoga, her smile and her great sense of humor keep her students coming back for more.  Her many life experiences have taught her the importance of letting go, of using breath work for slowing down and calming the nervous system, and also being mindful of the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual self during a yoga practice.  Maintaining balance is key to living a happy and healthy life!

Astra is a 5oo RYT, Pain Relief Specialist, and founder of Broken Tusk Wellness Education. Astra came to yoga through the Ayurveda program at Mount Madonna Center and was later also certified in Clinical Somatic Movement. In the process, she found a combination of practices that helped her with chronic pain and anxiety. Astra teaches people practical skills and techniques to relieve themselves from physical and emotional pain and find ease in their bodies and minds.

For more than 30 years, yoga has helped Simona connect mind, body, and spirit as she strives to find presence and balance in her life. In Simona's classes, she emphasizes attention to alignment and to the gentle opening of tight or restricted areas. Simona tries to guide each person to find a depth of practice that fits their individual needs and provides them with the most benefits.

Alex recently completed 100 hours toward her 200 hour Strala Yoga Leadership Training and is working to complete her 200 hour certification. She has been a yoga student since elementary school. Alex leads Gentle classes that wake up and sensitize your body and mind. She feels that yoga connects your mind and body in a very special way. This connection creates ease which can help everything on and off the mat. Alex’s biggest hope is that yoga helps you reconnect with your beautiful self.

Cindy's classes offer yoga basics in a way that is available to everyone, regardless of age, size, or ability.
Cindy's students practice gentle stretching and mindful breathing at a comfortable pace.
Cindy Davis feels that when we feel “at home” in our bodies, we take better care of ourselves. When we’re balanced, we make calmer decisions.
The classes always end with deep relaxation, leaving you rested and ready to step back into your day.

Jamie Dillon's motto is: "If it's not fun, it's it's very likely not worth doing." Dillon is most interested in teaching restorative and gentle yoga, with attention to alignment and patience. He studied simple fundamental techniques of pranayama, with a view to careful safe teaching. Jamie is highly interested in the history and teachings of yoga and was trained at Mount Madonna Center in the traditional eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga.

Jen Ghastin is a 500 HR-RYT and is the proud owner of Yoga Salinas. In 2019, Jen studied breathwork with Mahendra Briksha and asanas with Laura McKinnon at Seaside Yoga Sanctuary where she received her certified 200 YTT. In 2021, Jen earned her 300 YTT with Mark Stephens. Through yoga, Jen finds profound bliss in physical, emotional, and spiritual alignment and seeks to share this joy with others.

Allison is a 500HR-RYT and believes that yoga is so powerful it can help shift major physical, emotional, and mental patterns in our lives from just one class. Allison’s classes are anatomically sequenced to keep you safe and balanced in your body. Her vinyasa flows help "burn off" excess energy before leading you into a cooling, restorative end of practice where you can find your own bliss. She incorporates aspects of yoga she is passionate about such as anatomy and physiology, somatics, the energetic body, the Yoga Sutras, and more.

Angel lives her life with passion, a feeling you’ll experience as soon as you meet her. Angel has been practicing and incorporating yoga philosophy in her life for over seven years. She graduated from Om Studios with her 200HR RYT certificate in 2019 and 2021 received her 300HR master yoga teacher training certification. She is passionate about sharing the countless benefits yoga and meditation have to offer and providing a space for all to feel welcome and experience its benefits.

Elizabeth is a Certified Yoga Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher at home in the Bay Area. Her offerings incorporate Hatha, Restorative and Therapeutic Yoga, as well as a background in community mental health. Elizabeth has been leading wellness groups since 2009 and teaching yoga since 2013, exploring the intersections of physical, mental, emotional, and social health. She aims to support her students in recognizing their inherent worth and increasing resiliency.

Serena completed her 500-hour Massage Therapist Licensing / QiQong training & theory at Five Branches University and received additional QiQong trainer certification under Master Fajun Christian Real of Templestyle Integrative Arts in Santa Cruz, Ca. Serena will always be a student of the practice and is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom her teachers have shared with her.

Ellen has been practicing yoga since 2005, and has been a certified yoga instructor since 2008. Her teaching style emphasizes proper body alignment and movement with the breath in order to undo the obstructions and limitations in the body and the mind. She enjoys passing on to my students all that she have learned. Her hope is that her students carry with them a greater sense of calmness, well-being, and the knowledge that they are enough.

Andrea (she/they) is a pan-sexual woman of mixed indigenous Filipino-Peruvian heritage with 18 years of experience as a dance instructor and 8 years of experience as yoga teacher. Raised in a culturally diverse home, speaking multiple languages, Andrea identifies as a humble connector and enjoys bridging traditions from all over the world with respect and grace. Her classes at Yoga Salinas are a blend of her spiritual teachings, professional certifications, unique gifts and trained skills. As her student, you can expect to learn about yogic history and philosophy from ga trauma-informed lens. Andrea received her RYT 200 from All Yoga Thailand in 2015. It is her goal in life to embody the yogi and inspire her students to do the same. Her yoga practice is a dedication and prayer to her ancestors from Mumbai, India. 

When she is not teaching at Yoga Salinas, Andrea is committed to her service as an integral coach, tobacco guardian, and supporter of local artists through her co-op @ManzanitaMercantileSalinas. Andrea is currently a student of the Plant Spirit School and Ascension Academy. Her mentors include Lorna Liana and Aluna Lua.
